Terremoto is an app that provides the latest earthquake data for the Italian Peninsula, sourced from the reputable INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology). It offers various features to keep users informed and prepared:
- Receive push notifications on your phone as soon as new event data is available from official sources. Customize alerts based on location and/or magnitude thresholds.
- An interactive map with circles of different sizes and colors represents the magnitude and age of each earthquake.
- View an event timeline that covers today, yesterday, and previous days.
- Access detailed information on each event through the map and timeline views.
- Filter events by magnitude and local occurrences within the same country.
- Export data to Google Earth or other kml-compatible apps.
- Share event maps and data on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Email.
- Leverage reverse geocoding to automatically calculate names for locations based on geographical coordinates when unavailable.
- Add widgets to your home screen or Today view to have the latest seismic data at your fingertips.
